It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Kenneth Smith Jr. (Kalkaska, Michigan), born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard K. Smith Sr. and Carolyn R. Fleenor Smith (Fleenor); and his brother David Smith. He is survived by : his significant other Brenda G. Smith; his daughter Chelsea R. Smith (Justin); and his siblings, Dennis Smith (Jill), Sandy and Retha Smith Johnson (Eric). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the PKD Foundation, P.O. Box 871847, Kansas City, MO 64187.
