He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger and Bonnie "Fry"; his parents-in-law, Peggy and Skip Woodcock; his grandparents, Grover, Gladys Ball (Wheeler), Irving and Doris Fry (Besaw); and his aunts and uncles, Barb Crider, Jeanette Cooper, Ruby Ball, Thelma Ball, Bill Elking, Ralph Crider, Buck Cooper, Stanley Ball and Duane Ball.
He is survived by: his significant other Heidi Helberg (Woodcock); his son Christopher Helberg; his sisters, Deb Ball-Odeh of Kalkaska, Teresa Ball of Kalkaska, Tammy Ball of Belleville and Tara Marie Ball of Belleville; his siblings-in-law, Kim and Don Fisher; his nephew Michael Cleggett (Brianne); his great-nieces and great-nephews, James, Kyler and Rylan; his nephew James Boyce; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Winnie, Coleson and Elijah; his nephews, Quentin, Jacob, Chene Moran and Spencer Hamilton; his niece Victoria Wehrmeister (Nick); his great-nephew Dominic; his great-niece Alyssa; his niece Cheyenne Beyette (Kody); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Genevieve, Remington, Charlotte, Asher, Stevie, Claire, Dylan, Adalynn and Carson; and his uncles, Dennis and Douglas Fry (Sharon).
