He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Shauan and Rhoda Shauan (Justice); and his pet Morgan. He is survived by: his wife Catherine L. Barnum; his children, Tyrone C. Shauan, Jr. and Darlene Shauan; his stepchildren, Casey Goeckerman, Heidi Gossard (William Fairbotham) and Grethen Ritter-Lopatowski (Jason); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Maggie, Benjamin, Abby, Austin, David and Carol; his siblings, Fred Shauan, Patricia Opsahl (Jerry), Jean Bender, Jane Workman and Belinda Tuttle; and his pets, Max and Ginger.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Us (1128 N Cedar St, Kalkaska, MI 49646). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
