It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Ruth Emerson (Kalkaska, Michigan), born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on March 24, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Theriault and Patsy Ruth Edwards (Wilson); her stepfather Pat Noell; and her siblings, John, Pat, Bev, Priscilla and Joe.

She is survived by: her children, Jenny Windsor, Sue-Ann Harris, Donald Harris and Rachel Wells; her grandchildren, Chelsea, Austin, Katelyn and Ella; her great grandchildren, Jasper, Nathan and Kendra; and her siblings, James Noell, Dawn Ostrander and Kay Wilmoth.
