Angeline A. Grzegorczyk Obituary

Angeline "Angie" A. Grzegorczyk, loving mother, grandmother and sister, full of love and faith, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025 at BayField Assisted Living with her family at her side. Born on December 11, 1935 in Fisherville, Michigan, to the late Frank and Violet (Cieslinski) Pril. Angie was a loving and devoted wife and mother and a cherished member of her faith community.

Angie's life was one of faith, love and devotion. On September 4, 1954 she was united in marriage to Jerome "Jay" Grzegorczyk. Their union was blessed with 69 years of marriage, filled with laughter, love, and the joy of raising their family. Together, they raised five boys—Gerard (Sharon), Kenneth (Michele), David (Lori), Bruce (Barbara), and Bryan—instilling in them the importance of faith and dedication to their families.

Angie's legacy continued to grow as she became the proud grandmother to Dane (Kristin), Gabrielle (Jacob) Bouvy, Noah, Aaron, Trent (Alayna), Alisha (Nick) Hoffman, Jordan (Geri), Jacquelin (Zeb) Tanis, Jaron, and Ace (Jessica), Niki, and Andy. She also cherished her fourteen great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.

Angie was a graduate of T.L. Handy High School and later retired from Dow Chemical in Midland. Her work ethic and involvement in her community were testaments to her character. Angie's kitchen was the heart of her home; her door was always open, and anyone who sat at her table was in for a treat. Known for her tasty Danish pastries, coffee cakes, homemade bread, and cinnamon twists, "Cha Cha Angie's" kitchen was the gathering spot for anyone hungry or looking for good food and a lively card game.

Angie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jay, her granddaughter Danielle, her siblings Donald Prill, Ted Prill, Tom Prill, and Jean Kaczmarek. Along with her loving children and grandchildren she is survived by her in-laws Marge Prill, Paul Grzegorczyk, Mary Jo Stieve, and Leona Butko. The family is so grateful to Leona who showed immense kindness to Angie during her time in assisted living.

Angie was a loving, faith-filled and thoughtful individual who touched the lives of many. Her unwavering commitment to her family and her community will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Angie's memory will continue to inspire and guide her family and friends for generations to come. Her beautiful spirit, the warmth of her kitchen and the love she shared, will be remembered forever in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Angie will be forever loved and greatly missed.
