Arlene K. Charbonneau Obituary
Arlene K. Charbonneau, age 85, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on January 20, 1940, in Mt. Forest, to the late Ernest and Evelyn (Dunn) Bodrie.
She married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Charbonneau, on February 11, 1956, in Pinconning, Michigan. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by her two children, Raymond Charbonneau and Gary Charbonneau; son-in-law, Neil Sylvester; grandchildren, Jenny (Chad) Messinger, Melissa (Steve) Sylvester, Jason (Cassey) Sylvester, Trisha (Mark) Charbonneau-Ivey, and Krystle (William) Charbonneau-Mercades; great-grandchildren, Penelope and Robert Sylvester; along with brothers, brothers- and sisters-in-law, and many dear friends who will miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Sylvester; her son, Randy Charbonneau; and extended family members, including brothers and a sister, and brothers- and sisters-in-law.
Funeral Mass will be on Friday January 16, 2026 at 11am from Prince of Peace- St. Anne Campus with Rev. Fr. Prentice Tipton presiding with burial following at St. Anne Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday at Rivertown Funeral Chapel from 4pm to 8pm. A vigil prayer service will be at 7pm. On Friday from 10am till time of service at church.
