Bobbie Jo Ann Planck Obituary

Bobbie Jo Ann Planck passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends on April 29, 2026.

Bobbie Jo was born on June 5, 1974 at Lapeer Regional Hospital to Gregory Allan Planck and Hope Marie Sweeney.

Bobbie Jo attended Bay Arenac ISD. She enjoyed listening to music. Bobbie especially seemed to enjoy listening and watching her dad play guitar and sing for her. Bobbie loved to sit outside under a tree and watch the leaves blowing in the breeze, she liked colorful balloons and loved sitting in the sunshine.

Left to cherish Bobbie Jo's memory are her dad, Greg (Tina) Planck, siblings - Billie Jo Sweeney, Starlynn Planck, Korissa Platzer (Jacob), along with several Aunt's and Uncles, nieces and nephews.

Bobbie Jo was Preceded in death by her mother, Hope Sweeney, grandmothers -Alberta White (Boots) and Edna Planck. Grandfathers - Jack Sweeney (Batman) and James Planck.

A special heartfelt thank you to Compassus Hospice and to the wonderful staff at Orchard Bay group home in Standish for the exceptional, loving care that they have provided for Bobbie Jo (Bob), throughout the years.

Honoring the families wishes cremation has taken place with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
