Charles E. Dusenberry Prescott, MichiganCharles E. Dusenberry, passed away on July 6, 2026, he was born on January 18, 1944, in Evanston, Illinois, in Bay City, Michigan, to the late Paul & Lillian (Pedersen) Dusenberry.
He was raised in San Pedro, California, where he developed the foundation of character that would guide him throughout his life. Charles was a devoted husband to Cindy and a proud father to his daughter, Phalyn, and his son, Patrick. He also embraced his role as a stepfather to Sandy, Christina, and Alan with kindness and sincerity. His family was central to his life, and he found great joy in the bonds he shared with them. He was also blessed with several grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will cherish the memories of his love, humor, and steady support. He was preceded in death by a Stepdaughter Brooke.
A man of many interests, Charles was known as both a car enthusiast and computer enthusiast, always eager to learn how things worked and to keep up with the changing world around him. Travel was one of Charles's great joys, and he appreciated the experiences, sights, and stories that came with exploring new places. He especially loved the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The beauty and character of Michigan held a special place in his heart these last 17 years.
Charles also had a deep appreciation for art and music in many forms. He valued creativity and expression, and he found inspiration in the beauty of both. Whether enjoying a favorite song, admiring a work of art, or simply taking in the atmosphere of a meaningful moment, he understood the power of creativity to enrich life. He will be remembered as a man who lived with intelligence, kindness, and a spirit of adventure. He faced life with a steady sense of purpose and a willingness to embrace new experiences.
Per Charles's wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
