Charles "Skip" R. PapworthLinwood, MichiganCharles "Skip" Papworth, age 55, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 26, 2026. He was born on May 21, 1970, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Margaret "Maggie" (Strachan) & the late Charles R. Papworth.

Skip graduated from Pinconning High School Class of 1988, and went on to Michigan State University receiving his Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems. You could find Skip working beside Maggie at the Linwood Hotel making the best pizza around and chatting it up with everyone who came into the Hotel. He was an avid hockey fan, and loved music, especially traveling to the Blues Festivals, and to Australia to visit his brother.

He is survived by his brothers; Paul (Yi), Kyle (Katie), and Drew, nephews Max, Grey, and niece Leah.

Friends and family may visit at Rivertown Funeral Chapel on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please consider families wishes.

Cremation has taken place.
