David W. Randall Obituary
David William Randall, born on March 9, 1952, passed away on September 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 73 years old. David shared 52 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Helen (Klee) Randall. The two first met in Bad Axe, Michigan, where their paths crossed and quickly grew into a lifelong love. They were married on May 4, 1974, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Their bond was one of deep devotion and mutual respect, and Helen was not only David's wife, but also his steadfast companion and best friend through every season of life. David was a proud father to Heidi Randall Duncan (Patrick) and DJ Randall, and a deeply loved grandfather to Shawn Duncan, Hailey Duncan, Ford Randall, and Emily Duncan. His family was his greatest joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them. David grew up in Bad Axe, Michigan, where he formed the values of hard work and love for the outdoors that stayed with him throughout his life. In 1991, he moved his family to Kawkawlin, Michigan, to pursue a career as a project manager of a janitorial program that provided meaningful work opportunities for individuals with special needs. David was a man of many talents, and throughout his life he also enjoyed buying, selling, and trading—whether it was cars, furniture, crafts, or goods of all kinds. His entrepreneurial spirit and ability to connect with people made him well-loved in every community he was part of. David was a man who found peace and happiness in the outdoors. He enjoyed camping under the stars, hunting, fishing, and traveling to new places with his family. His love of adventure and appreciation for nature will live on through the many stories and traditions he passed down. He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Randall; his mother, Marjorie Creguer Randall; his brother, Harold Randall; his niece, Renee Randall; his brother-in-law, Rick Hearsch; his mother- and father-in-law, Charles and Anna Klee; his brother- and sister-in-law, Chuck and Judy Klee; his brother-in-law, Jerry Klee; his nephews, Donnie Siemen and Ed Montrose; and his great-niece, Brooke Siemen.
Those who knew David will remember him for his kindness, his sense of humor, his unwavering dedication to his family, and most of all, his social nature—he was truly a social butterfly. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and togetherness that will be carried forward by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
David will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him.
Funeral mass will be on Thursday October 2, 2025 at 11am at Prince of Peace- Scared Heart Campus with Rev. Fr. Prentice Tipton presiding with burial at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday at Rivertown Funeral Chapel from 2pm to 8pm with a vigil service at 7pm. On Thursday from 10am till time on mass at church.
