Diane S. Lauria, a beacon of love and generosity, passed away peacefully in her hometown of Bay City, Michigan, on September 5, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on February 17, 1962, Diane's life was marked by her selfless spirit and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.
Diane's life was a testament to the power of love and family. She was a devoted mother to her three daughters, Brandi (Douglas) Fry, Kristy McGowan, and Nichole (Clay) Hollister. Her love extended to her cherished grandchildren, Lorenzo, Monica, Breann, Richard, Heaven, Noah, Brylon, Autumn, Carter, Kota, and Kato, who filled her life with joy and laughter. Diane's capacity for love also embraced a special friend, Donald Grischke, with whom she shared many happy moments.
The family bond was Diane's greatest treasure, and she was a beloved sister to Sandra (Mike) Lauria, Mary (Dale) Ball, Virginia Peterson, John (Kellie) Lauria, and Cindy (Jeff) Blum. She was preceded in death by her parents, LaVerne Lauria and Sylvia (Terrance) Blum, a sister Karen Both and a brother-in-law Larry Peterson. Diane's presence was a source of stability and comfort in the lives of her siblings, and her absence will leave an irreplaceable void.
Diane's zest for life was evident in her passions. She was an avid Bingo player, finding joy in the camaraderie and excitement of the game. Music was a constant in Diane's life, providing a soundtrack to her days and comfort in her quiet moments. A dedicated fan of the Detroit Lions, she never wavered in her support, demonstrating the same loyalty she showed to all she loved. Diane was the life of any gathering when it came to playing cards, her laughter and competitive spirit making every game memorable.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday September 10, 2025 at 11 am at Rivertown Funeral Chapel will burial at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12pm to 6pm and on Wednesday from 10am till time of service.
