Donald A. Gust Sr. Obituary

Donald (Don) A. Gust 7/30/1937 - 7/19/2026 Donald Alan Jacob Gust was born to David and Natalie Gust on 7/30/1937 in Alma, Michigan. He was married to Jean Lang from Oct. 1960 to May 1986. Together they had two children, Natalie Willford and Donald Gust, Jr. He then married Esther Yager in Feb. 1990 until her death in Feb. 2016. He retired from Dow Chemical after 30+ years of employment as well as maintaining his farm. His happiest times were spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren (who were the apples of his eyes). He is survived by his children, stepchildren Kathy (Charles) Arthur, Donald (Sue) Yager and Ginny (Dennis) Fullerton, grandchildren Ashley and Andrew Cooper, Dakota Gust, Joshua Wiltfong, Step - grandchildren Chris, Lori, Rachel, Rebecca, Chad and Scott, many great step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Esther, two brothers and their wives, Emil (Margaret) and William (Gladys) and one nephew, Roger Gust. Per Don's wishes, cremation has taken place. Graveside services to take place at a later date. Don will always be remembered for his laugh, love of ice cream and dancing, especially the polka, waltz and chicken dance.
