Georgina L. McLeod Obituary

Georgina "George" L. McLeod, age 55, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, in Kawkawlin, Michigan. Born on August 28, 1970, in Flint, Michigan, to Gene & Linda (Grawey) McLeod. She is survived by her mother; Linda, sister; Linda (Dave) Heuer, stepbrother, Alfred (Vicky) McLeod, her Fiancé, Ken LaBean Jr., and nieces; Samantha, Brittany, and Shay Heuer.

She was preceded in death by her father Gene McLeod.

Georgina was a graduate of Pinconning High School, and Mid-Michigan College where she earned her gold cords. She also attended Saginaw Valley State University and Delta College, laying the foundation for what would become a distinguished career. Georgina dedicated 15 years of her professional life to the Health Source of Saginaw, where her compassion and expertise were evident in her unwavering commitment to her patients. She also served her community with an additional five years in home care.

Georgina's interests reflected her adventurous and thoughtful nature. She found tranquility in swimming and solace in the companionship of her beloved animals. Her green thumb brought beauty to the world as she tended to her garden, nurturing each plant with the same care she showed to those around her. Camping and walking in the woods were not mere pastimes for Georgina but a way to connect with the earth and recharge her spirit.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 7, 2025 at 6:00 pm at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Pinconning Chapel, with Kathy Bersano presiding. Friends and family may visit at the chapel from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Private burial will be in Munro Township Cemetery Levering, Michigan.
