Lori Lynne Courier Obituary
Lori Lynne Courier, a beacon of love and faith, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, at the age of 64, surrounded by the warmth of her family in her hometown of Bay City, Michigan. Born on September 22, 1961, in the same vibrant community, Lori's life was a testament to the enduring strength of family bonds and the joy of simple pleasures.
Lori's life was filled with the laughter and love of a close-knit family. She was a cherished wife to her devoted husband, Robert Courier, whom she married on March 3, 1978. Together, they built a life rich with shared moments and mutual respect. Lori's legacy lives on through her beloved children, Renee (Adair) Aumock and Colton Courier. Her joy was multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren, Callista (Karder) Gollin, Ajaya (Jade) Zarlengo, Cailynn and Avian Aumock, and her great-grandchild, Wayland Reign. Lori's siblings, Mick Briggs, Tina Militello, Shelly Debats, and Crystal Jacobs, remember her as a guiding light in their lives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Alice Briggs, and her in-laws, Bob and Martha Courier, who all left deep imprints on her heart.
Lori's professional life was characterized by her reputation as the best house cleaner around. However, her true vocation was being a wonderful wife, mother, nana, and friend. Her selfless nature made her home a sanctuary of comfort and care for all who entered. Her work extended beyond her own household as she touched the lives of many through her involvement in various associations, where she was known for her dedication and warmth.
An avid camper, Lori found solace and joy in the great outdoors. Her hands were rarely idle, as she lovingly sewed blankets for gifts, each stitch a testament to her thoughtfulness. Her interests also included spending quality time with her family, friends, and church family, where she was a pillar of support and a source of boundless love.
Lori was the embodiment of a loving, faith-filled, and selfless individual. Her unwavering faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's challenges and triumphs. She approached every day with a heart full of grace and a spirit eager to serve others.

Celebration of life for Lori will be on October 7, 2025 at 4pm at the Radiant Church 2820 N. Euclid with Pastor Marco Salazar presiding with a meal to follow. Visitation will be on Monday at Rivertown Funeral Chapel from 2pm till 8pm. On Tuesday from 3:330pm till time of service.
