Marguerite Cochran Obituary

Marguerite Cochran age 90, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Hampton Nursing and Rehab. She was born on August 19, 1935, in Bay Port, Michigan to the late Morris & Emma (Shaw) Taylor. Marguerite was a hairdresser for years owning and operating her own business. She enjoyed camping nature walks, singing Karaoke and playing guitar but her favorite past time was fishing, most of all she loved her dog Tinker.

She was raised by Robert & Emma (Shaw) Jubar. She is survived by her children; Gene (Sue) Cochran, Barb Decatur, Darlene Baczkiewicz, Jerry Lee (April) Cochran, grandchildren Tammy (Dan) Joseph, Michael (Larissa) Baczkiewicz, Nichole (Matthew) Cubic, Jeremy (Sam) Cochran and Jamie Cochran, great grandchildren; Brian Hacker, Brandon Boucher, Brenden Ballard, Chase Aikens and Rylie Cochran as well as several great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her siblings Joyce Glaicer, Donald (Judy) Jubar, Carol Barnard, David Jubar and Sandra Taylor. She was predeceased by her sisters Darlene Menzer, Kathleen Doyle, Penny Pelton and a brother Joseph Jubar and a grandson William Hacker.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hampton Nursing and Rehab and McLaren Hospice for the compassionate care given Marguerite.

Cremation has taken place.
