Penny L. Fisher Obituary
Penny Lynn Fisher, a beacon of kindness and creativity, was called to her heavenly home on January 9, 2026. Born on June 5, 1953, in Bremerton, Washington, Penny's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and her devotion to her family and community.
Penny lived a life full of love and joy, marrying the love of her life, Philip Fisher, on November 12, 1994. Their union was a source of strength and inspiration to all who knew them. Penny's legacy is carried on by her adoring daughters, Heidi Strand and Brandy (Joe) Nashatka, and her sons, Michael (Julie) Fisher and Jared Fisher. Her grandchildren, Olivia, Cooper, Alexis, Jaden, and Liv, were the apples of her eye, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Penny was a devoted sister to Marsha (Mike) Dynes and Bonnie (Brian) Enns. She was a beloved aunt to her many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Her mother, Dorthy (London) Weaver, survives her, continuing to embody the family's strength and resilience. Penny was preceded in death by her father, Wilfred LaVerne Weaver, with whom she now shares eternal peace.
Penny attended Simpson Bible College in San Francisco California and obtained an associate's degree at Alpena Community College, Penny's passion for learning was only surpassed by her desire to share knowledge. She found great joy and purpose as a piano teacher, touching the lives of countless students with her patience and talent. Her gentle guidance and encouragement helped many to not only learn music but also to appreciate the beauty in life's melodies.
Penny's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence. It guided her actions and gave her life an unwavering purpose. She embodied Christ's teachings through her actions, always extending a hand of friendship and a heart full of forgiveness. Her faith community was an extension of her family, and she was an active and cherished member of her church.
Her interests were as varied as they were creative. Penny was an avid gardener, her hands as skilled with the soil as they were with the piano keys. Her garden was a vibrant tapestry of colors that reflected the beauty of God's creation. Ceramics was another of her passions, and through her artwork, she brought joy and beauty into the world.
Described by those who knew her as kind, faith-filled, and creative, Penny lived her life as a shining example of Christian love. She spread warmth and light wherever she went, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were blessed to know her.
Penny's life was a melody composed of faith, love, and service, and though her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit continues to inspire. As we remember Penny Lynn Fisher, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a soul eternally cherished.
Per Penny's wishes cremation has taken place with no services planned at this time. Arraignment's have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Standish, Michigan.
