Roseann J. "Rose" Miller, known lovingly to family and friends as Rose, passed away on September 18, 2026, at Covenant Health Source following a brief illness. She was born on June 22, 1959, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, to the late Norman and Rosemay (Gyergyov) Schott. Rose lived a life marked by devotion, kindness, and a deep love for the people who surrounded her.
Rose was united in marriage to Dennis Miller on August 12, 1989, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Saginaw, and he survives her. Their marriage was built on love, faith, and a shared commitment to family. Together they created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and care, and Rose took great pride in the life they built side by side.
Family was at the center of Rose's life, and she cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Erica (Andy) Dean, Sarah (Adam) Gutchak, Norman (Shannon) Miller, and Jolene (Kyle) Szyperski. She was a proud grandmother to Brendan, Cameron (Erika), Rylie, Taylor, Landon, Grant, Dennis, Evelyn, Levi, and Madyson, and a beloved great-grandmother to Colson. Rose found great joy in watching her family grow, and she treasured the special bonds she shared with each of them.
She is also survived by her sisters, Kathy Jobs, Marylou (Gregg) Gustin, Sandra Westphal, and Pam (Floyd) Lucynski, along with many nieces and nephews who will remember her with love. Rose was preceded in death by her grandson, Logan Gutchak, and her brother-in-law, Michael Jobs. Her family will forever hold close the memories of her loving presence, her thoughtful nature, and the steady support she gave so freely.
Rose attended Holy Trinity Parish and lived her faith through the way she cared for others. She was a loving and thoughtful woman who placed the needs of her family above her own and found meaning in the simple, meaningful moments of everyday life. Her home and heart were always open, and she had a special gift for making others feel welcome, cared for, and valued.
She enjoyed fishing, sewing, and camping, and these interests brought her peace and happiness throughout her life. Whether she was spending time outdoors, working on a sewing project, or enjoying time with those she loved, Rose embraced each day with quiet strength and a gentle spirit. Her family and friends will remember her for the love she gave, the thoughtful way she lived, and the many memories she helped create.
Rose will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, devotion, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandson, sisters, extended family, and all who were blessed to share in her life.
