Stanley F. Wagner Obituary

Stanley "Stan" F. Wagner, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on the family farm in Beaver Township on May 24, 2025. Born in Bay City, Michigan, to the late Emil and Johnna (Lukowski) Wagner, Stan was a beacon of light and laughter to all who knew him.

Stan was the beloved husband of Delores (Rynarzewski) Wagner, whom he met on the school bus and later married on June 6, 1953, at St. Valentine's Church. Their union was blessed with children and a lineage that continued to grow and flourish. Stan was predeceased by his son, Raymond Wagner, and is survived by his loving daughter, Mary (Gary Howard) Keller, and his devoted sons, Stanley Brian "Cookie" Wagner, Jeffrey Wagner and Craig Wagner. Stan's joy was multiplied through his grandchildren, Erica, Shane, Crystal, Mikel, Joseph, Angela, Alex, Denise and Chase, and his great-grandchildren, Prisila, Jose, Jorge, Julianna, Charlie, Clare, Madison, Bryce and Benjamin, who will all remember him fondly.

A man of remarkable character, Stan was the first of eleven siblings to graduate from high school, setting a precedent for the importance of education within his family. His siblings Emil Wagner and Caroline, along with numerous nieces and nephews, will hold dear the memories of their times together. Stan was preceded in death by his brothers Virgil, Leo, Sylvester, Aloisa, George, and Michael, and his sisters Marion and Josephine, who welcomed him into eternal rest.

Stan dedicated 40 years of his life to Farmer Pete's Meat Packing Company as a delivery man, where his strong work ethic and amiable nature were well-known. On weekends, he could be found in Saginaw at various meat shops, where he worked as a butcher, sharing his skills and camaraderie with the community.

Beyond his professional life, Stan was a man of many interests. He had a passion for playing horseshoes, bowling, fishing, woodworking, snowmobiling, and especially riding motorcycles. His adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors were infectious. Stan's laughter and stories were a constant source of joy during family gatherings, and his presence will be profoundly missed.

Stan's faith-filled life was evident in his daily actions and interactions with others. He was a funny, friendly soul who never met a stranger and could always be counted on for a good joke or a helping hand. His faith and humor were the cornerstones of his life, guiding him through both good times and challenges.

Stan's legacy is one of love, laughter, and a deep commitment to his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren will carry forward the lessons of kindness, perseverance, and joy that he embodied. Stan Wagner's life was a testament to the power of positivity and the lasting impact one person can have on the hearts of many.

As we bid farewell to Stan, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of cherished moments and enduring love. His memory will continue to be a guiding light for all who were fortunate enough to know him. Stan's journey on earth may have concluded, but the stories, laughter, and love he shared will resonate for generations to come.
