Timothy Michael Boetefuer Obituary
Timothy (Beef) Michael Boetefuer, age 45, passed away on Monday October 6, 2025. He was born on November 4, 1979, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Thomas and Christine (Rosenbrock) Boetefuer. Beef attended Pinconning schools graduating in 1998. He built a fulfilling career as a High Voltage Electrician, and was the Vice President of Great Lakes Power Service Inc. His professional life extended beyond the household and he touched the lives of so many through his involvement. He had a brilliant mind, a gift for troubleshooting complex problems and always taking the time to make sure the job was done right. Beef was someone people could always count on whether for a complicated job or a simple request. He took great pride in his work and always ready to lend his skills to help others and always quick to give his opinion, even if you didn't want it. He was a take it or leave it kind of guy.
To know Beef was to know his adventurous spirit, loving heart, infectious laugh, and great hugs. His greatest joy in life was his two amazing sons, Timothy and Trenton, his wife Rochelle, family and friends. He had special bonds with so many friends and family, especially all of the cousin's that were as close as brothers, and the impact he had on each of them will be forever remembered. Beef enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, and shooting skeet at the Crump Fox Club with family and friends, especially playing cards (pinochle) with all the uncles and cousins at family gatherings. His morel hunting with his boys, his brother and friends was always an adventure.
Beef is survived by his wife Rochelle, their two sons, Timothy and Trenton, his mother Christine (Rosenbrock) Boetefuer, mother-in-law LouAnn Doak and Harold, father-in-law Gerald (Robin) Verellen, brothers Brian (Danielle) Boetefuer, Scott (Taylor) Boetefuer, brother in-law Adam (Amanda) Verellen, sister in-law Christine (Chris) Little. His beloved nieces and nephews Carter Bleshenski, Chloe and Ella Boetefuer; Fletcher and Fisher Punches; Cali, Baylee and Oliver Verellen; Connor and Catie Little. His uncles and aunts, Bill (Bunny) Rosenbrock, Alvin (Eileen) Rosenbrock, Kathy Szwed, Julieann Rosenbrock, Elmer Rosenbrock, and Jeanie (Jerry) Wittkopp, Pudge (Kelly) Rosenbrock, Mary (Tom) Idzior, Barbie (Chris) Rabish, Karen Verellen, John (June) Brittain, Jean Oulete, Chuck (Kathy) Doak and many beloved cousins.
Beef was predeceased by his father Thomas Boetefuer, his grandparents, Adolph Boetefuer and Ella (Kuch) Boetefuer, Herbert and Lorina (Wegener) Rosenbrock, Bernard and Virginia (Rash) Verellen, and Robert and Geneva (McGill) Doak.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Rivertown Funeral Chapel, Kawkawlin, MI with Pastor Gregory Hyatt presiding. The family will greet family and friends on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 2:00 – 8:00 pm at Rivertown Funeral Chapel in Kawkawlin, MI and on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Crump Fox Club or an act of remembrance by the family of Beef.
