He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Stinson and Theresa Stinson; and his siblings, Rita Spare (Ed), Tim Stinson (Julie), Ted Stinson and Daniel Stinson.
He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Kolyer Stinson; his children, Matthew Garlon Stinson (Nicole) and VaughnAnn Michele Welch (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Carly Jean Stinson, Matthew Garlon Stinson, Jr. and Warren Patrick Welch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
