She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Schmidt; and her sons, Robert J. Schmidt (Colleen), David Edward Schmidt and Joseph Edward Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Schmidt, Kenneth M. Schmidt (Vickie) and Margaret Owensby; her grandchildren, Matthew Marx, Alexandria Maassarani (Danny), Michael Schmidt, Melissa Spencer (Mark), Kenny Schmidt (Michelle), Joseph Owensby and Thomas Owensby; and her great grandchildren, Roman Maassarani, Skylar Davis, Madeline Schmidt and Benjamin Schmidt.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Family Funeral Care (2904 Orchard Lake Rd, Keego Harbor, MI 48320). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:30 AM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Society of St.Vincent DePaul, St. Benedict Conference, Monastery of the Blessed Sacrament, Farmington Hills, MI, or Capuchin Retreat Center, Washington Township, MI.
