He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann DeVigili and Regina DeVigili; and his son Helmut W. DeVigili. He is survived by: his wife Inge Fuetscher; his children, Dieter DeVigili (Kathy) and Carol Densteadt; his daughter-in-law Kathleen Robinson; his grandchildren, Andrew DeVigili, Taylor Cureton (Jordan), Olivia Densteadt (Brendan Smoots), Alexia Densteadt and Erica DeVigili; his great grandchild Zavier Cureton; and his sister Rosmarie DeFago.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A prayer will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Marysville Funeral Home (1200 Michigan Ave, Marysville, MI 48040). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church-Emmett (10828 Brandon Rd, Emmett, MI 48022).
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Michigan Snowsports Industries Association (for their program encouraging youth to learn to ski).
