He was predeceased by : his former life partner Ella; his son John Glenn; and his siblings, Jim Mulder, Kaye Sharphorn and Ann Post.

He is survived by : his wife Shirlene (Brock); his daughters, Deb Hoover (John), Donna VanderLinde (Don), Marilyn White (Gunnar) and Marge Montsma (Tim); his stepchildren, Cindy Smith (Craig), Keith LeFebre (Jackie) and Randy LeFebre (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Jane Mulder, Joanne Ellens, Willard Brock (Joyce), Gladys Mulder (Dave), Rolene Gilder (Ade), Jean DeWaard (Bill), Tress Brock, Ardean Garvelink (Gerry), Jack Miedema (Marcia) and Coralyn Vant'Hof (Don). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
