She was predeceased by: her parents, John Seidelman and Helene Seidelman; her former husband William Hentschel; her husband David Gardner; and her brother Bruce Seidelman.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Hentschel (Linda), Douglas Hentschel (Diane), Judith Grooters (John) and Nancy Ross (Dan); her grandchildren, Jordyn Osburn (Zach), Erin Lake (Andrew), Amber Moore (Alan), Jedidiah Grooters (Brittany), Stephanie Hentschel, Matthew Ross (Kristin), Jonathan Hentschel (Daneli), Emily Kreisel (Dylan), Joel Ross (Samantha), Joshua Hentschel and Ryan Hentschel; her brother John Seidelman (Lynn); and her family, Patti Kramer (Bob), Stephen Gardner (Cheryl) and Elaine Hollen (Doug). She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
