He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy "Ted" Miller and Nina Miller (Hoft); his former wife Cathy; his brother Ron Miller; and his grandchildren, Tom and Brittney.
He is survived by: his wife Patrice; his stepchildren, Shannon Musfelt (Larry) of Pinellas Park, FL, Abbi Rubbelke of Grand Rapids, Jason Kies (Vicky) of ChiaYi, Taiwan, Rob Bruwer (Kim) of Byron Center and Jeni Navarro (Manny) of Coon Rapids, MN.; his stepgrandchildren, Tyler, Darien (Taylor), Dillon (James), Giada, Graece, Giuliana, Ada, Kate and Gabi; and his siblings, Jim Miller (Cheryl), Anita Storrs (Lisa) and Anna Collins. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He also enjoyed cooking and trying out new recipes and, along with his wife, composed a cookbook of recipes they prepared during the pandemic of 2020/21.
