She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Kneiding and Mildred Kneiding; her husband James E. Pappas, Jr.; and her grandson Eric Carrier. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Vander Wall (Fred), Cheryl Golladay (Rich), Mary Carrier (John), Terri Eldridge and Jim Pappas III (Hilary); her grandchildren, Aaron Vander Wall (Christa), Chad Vander Wall (Amanda), Ashlee Tria (Karl), Rick Golladay Jr. (Samantha), Mitchell Carrier (Shalena), Alex Carrier, Jack Carrier, Ethan Eldridge, Hudson Eldridge and Averie Pappas; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Eric Carrier, Tycen Tria, Hunter, Mackenna and Cole Tomaszewski; and her sister Mary Opipari (Pat).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
