She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Hoover and Gladys Hoover; her husband Garrett Hamminga; her sons, Steven Hamminga and Garrett Hamminga Jr.; and her siblings, Robert Hoover, Walter Hoover, Edna Shimp and Barbara Moyer.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Hamminga of California, Ricky Hamminga of Karlin and Randy Hamminga (Beth) of Kewadin. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
