We are sad to announce that on April 24, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Steven James Thomas of Kewadin, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Steven Thomas and Susan Mary Thomas (Hubbell); his sister Genevieve Thomas; and his father-in-law Norman Knickerbocker. He is survived by: his wife Kolleen; his sisters, Stephanie Epifanio (Ralph) and Mary Stephens (Mark); his children, Kayla Croton (Tyler), Sara Rowe (William Gren), Daniel Rowe and Jennifer Markey (Will); and his mother-in-law Janice Knickerbocker. He is also survived by 8 beautiful grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as many loving extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Steve's name to Elk Rapids Band Boosters.

“I don't know how we missed it, but Kay and I weren't aware of any of the visitations or ceremonies, until she noticed the procession up Sutter Rd. we are assuming to the family cemetery. We were both saddened to hear that he has passed, but his ordeal is over. We have been friends and neighbors for many decades. I sincerely regret not being there to support you, your family as well as his sisters. Ron and Kay Boals”
