He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret (Ubelhor); and his sons, David Nelson and Douglas Nelson (Carole). He is survived by: his children, Ronald Nelson (Annette), Dennis Nelson, Sharon Konarski (James) and Nancy Lazarus (Al). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
