He is survived by : his wife Judith Abbott of L'Anse; his children, Edward Abbott Jr. (Laura) of Fairbanks, Theresa Freeman (Joesph) of L'Anse and Angela Abbott (Michael Plantenga) of Marquette, MI; his brothers, Robert Abbott (Gayela) of Couderay, WI and Roger Abbott (Sharon) of Monmouth, IL; and his grandchildren, Brandon Elliot, Leah Abbott, Kali Abbott, Michael Eichenlaub, Courtney Almli, Anastacia Freeman, Dasan Smith, Talon Smith, Ayden Plantenga and Coltyn Plantenga. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
