Joyce left this world on February 27, 2026 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Kussatz and Esther Kussatz (Marlow); her former husband Duane Dobson; her son Larry Dobson; her husband Sam Richards; her stepchildren, Margo Kari and Bill Richards; and her siblings, Floyd Kussatz, Melvin Kussatz, Jean Steffens, Gary Kussatz, Marvin Kussatz and Gordy Kussatz.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Dobson (Carrie) and Connie Tresedder (Ross); her sister LeAnn Bartol; her stepchildren, Harold Richards (Karen), Sam Richards (Rae), Mary Jane Laakso (Butch), Dale Richards (Judy) and Nick Richards; her stepdaughter-in-law Tonja Richards; her grandchildren, Nicholas Dobson, Caitlin Dobson, Bradley Dobson (Rebecca), Spencer Dobson (Shelly), Ty Dobson (Saraa), Brian Tresedder (Alyssa), Abby Hodge (Cole) and Hannah Mitchell (Brandon); and her great grandchildren, Chase Dobson, Art, Vail Tresedder, Hailey, Brayden, Hope, Gabriel Hodge and Mitchell. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home (400 N 3rd St, Ishpeming, MI 49849). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
