She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Bratton and Nora Bratton (Criel); her husband Roy LaVarnway; her son David LaVarnway; her son-in-law Tom Johnson; her brothers, Sherman Bratton and Virgil Bratton; and her granddaughter Brooke Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael LaVarnway (Heather) of Kingsford and Laurie Johnson (Joe Schomer) of Iron Mountain; her daughter-in-law Jodi LaVarnway (Jeff Campbell) of Iron Mountain; her grandchildren, Ashlee Johnson, Jamie Ellis (Jon), Justin (Hailee), Ethan, Nolan and Allison LaVarnway; her great grandchildren, Collin Punzel, Cale Punzel, Maya Meno and Charlee Punzel; and her sisters-in-law, Irene Bratton and Sandra Bratton. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
