He is survived by: his wife Sonja (Thorsen); his children, Dr. Eric Johnson (Laura Holcomb) of Oakland, ME, Aaron Johnson (Cari) of Ironton, MN and Sonya Edlund (Jon) of Norway; his grandchildren, Cody Johnson (Wendy), Michaella Johnson, Wulf Johnson, Sienna, Rae Johnson, Jonathan Edlund (Lauren), Andrew Edlund (Ibiye) and Zachary Edlund (Lisa); his great grandchildren, Harmony, Angel Sanchez, Ryder Edlund, Eliana, Enzo Edlund, Henry and Freya Edlund; and his sister Ruth Ann Ozcus of Stephenson, MI.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Redemption Hill Church (332 S Carpenter Ave, Kingsford, MI 49802). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
