She was predeceased by: her grandmother Vera Helen Nickerson; her parents, Jack Morgan and Zada Morgan; her husband Roger Alan Nickerson (Pete); her sons, David Alan and Peter Roger; her daughter-in-law Vicki Lynn Nickerson (Allen); and her grandson Jason Shane Nickerson.
She is survived by: her daughter Valinda Jean; and her children-in-law, Kenneth Bilbrey and Pamela Nickerson (Beagle). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Kingsley United Methodist Church (113 Blair St, Kingsley, MI 49649). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friends of the Kingsley Library Childrens' Reading Section, which is named after Vera and Pete, the Kingsley United Methodist Church, or The Rock Youth Center in Kingsley.
