He was predeceased by : his parents, Wesley Brown and Maude Brown (Nicholas); his wife Ruth Ann King; and his sister Patricia Rooney. He is survived by : his children, Corey Brown (Angie) of Lexington, NC, Ryan Brown (Laura) of Kernersville, NC and Stacey Brown (Janet) of Sandusky; his grandchildren, Sarah, Nathan, Nikkola, Micah and Heather; and his brother Thomas Brown (Virginia) of Daytona Beach, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
