With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Ann Peter of Kingston, Michigan, born in Alma, Michigan, who passed away on December 29, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Molby and Mildred Molby (Anderson); her son David Peter; and her nephew Jonathan Walkiewicz. She is survived by : her husband Richard Peter of Kingston; her sons, Gregory Peter (Karyn) of Kingston, Gary Peter (Lori Burns) of Carson City and Douglas Peter (Tammy) of Vassar; her daughter-in-law Melinda Wheatley (Jack II) of Flushing; her grandchildren, Aracelli Peter of Kingston, Dustin Peter of Kingston, Megan Peter (Eshwar Arasu) of Nashville, TN, Nicole Peter of Pleasant Ridge, Brandon Peter (Theresa) of Frankenmuth, Alyssa Peter of Frankenmuth, Andrew Wheatley (Morgan) of Ann Arbor, Madeline Wheatley of Ann Arbor, Jack Wheatley III of Ann Arbor and Alexandra Wheatley of Bloomfield; her great grandchildren, Violet Arasu and Van David Wheatley; her siblings, Jim Molby (Clara) of Riverdale and Louise Walkiewicz (Ken) of Deford; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Peter (Judy) of Naples, FL, Jane Bergey of Mount Pleasant, Marilyn Dale of Ada and Jennifer Peter (Don VanDuren) of Grand Rapids. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and beloved friends.
