She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake VanSloten and Cora VanSloten (DeWitt); her husband James Beacom; her son Bill Austhof; and her siblings, Floyd VanSloten, Dennis VanSloten, Vern VanSloten, Millie VanSloten and Laura VanSloten.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda and Luanne; and her sister Wilma Decker. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
