He was predeceased by: his father Roy Weide; and his brother Greg. He is survived by: his mother Laurine Weide (Kowalski); his wife Julie Smith; his daughters, Jessica Pelto (Cory) and Ann Case (Joe); his grandchildren, Riley, Jonathan, Caitlyn, Blaike and Brooklyn; and his sisters, Diane Shields (Kurt) and Sandra Goffstein.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the King Settlement Cemetery (3746 King Settlement Rd, Alpena, MI 49744).
