He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McLaren and Viola McLaren (Sharp); his wife Eleanor Cronk; his grandson Michael James McLaren; and his brothers, Wayne McLaren, Dale McLaren and Bernard McLaren.
He is survived by: his children, Robert McLaren (Lori), Michael McLaren, Melanie Garcia (Roger) and Bernard McLaren (Lorri); his brothers, Calvin McLaren and Larry McLaren (Sandy); and his sisters-in-law, Rachel McLaren and Yvonne Rondeau. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
