He is survived by: his children, Robin Cole, Randy Jacobs (Debbie), Jill Ploughman (Bob) and Todd Jacobs (Robert Kortze); his grandchildren, Robert Jacobs (Heather), Jacob Cruz (Nichole) and Ashley Cole; his great grandchildren, Hailey Harvey (Tim) and Brittany Jacobs; and his sister Gay Barr. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Marvin's name are suggested to Shiawassee Council on Aging – Morrice Senior Center.
