He is survived by: his wife Patti Champlin; his daughters, Kellee Brown (Mike) of Rochester Hills and Lacie Hejnal (Tim) of Lake City; his grandchildren, Andrew, Ava, Elisha, Audreigh, Charleigh and Samuel; his sisters, Bonnie Rogers (Randy) and Laurie Haughey (Tom); and his brother-in-law John Smart (Terri). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grove Church (3815 S Morey Rd, Lake City, MI 49651). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
