He is survived by: his parents, Herb Helsel and Courtney Helsel of Lake City; his siblings, Caiden, Emma, Faith, Vayda and Mabel; and his grandparents, Pam, John Blackmer (Cadillac), Tina, Michael Hanbury (Lake City), Mike, Jill McGuire (Grayling), Gene, Marsie Helsel (Lake City) and Payton.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Lake City High School (251 Russell Rd, Lake City, MI 49651).
Those who wish to honor Connor, in lieu of flowers, may make a contribution toward a memorial scholarship that the family will establish in his honor.
