It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Henry Girard of Lake Linden, Michigan, born in Vulcan, Michigan, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar Girard and Edna Girard (Corbeil); his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Girard, MaryAnn Ottoson and Jean Singler (Jack); his wife Bella Ottoson; his siblings, Edwin, Meriel, Ferdy, Rosabel and Marion; his son-in-law Rob Olszeweski; and his parents-in-law, Edmund and Alice Ottoson.
He is survived by : his children, Dan Girard (June) of Lake Linden, Wanda Frimodig (Eric) of Calumet, Dennis Girard (Helen) of Marquette, Mary Schwerin (Wayne) of North Ogden, UT, Mark Girard (Kathryn) of Kingsford and Beth Clark (Martin) of Marquette; and his brother-in-law Donny Ottoson Preceding.
