He was predeceased by : his parents, James Bonini and Stella Bonini (Gale); his wife Lenore Mattila of Traprock Valley; his siblings, Ruth Malgren (Herman "Mickey"), Alberta St (Bernard), Lillian Sarazin (George), Eleanor Weber (Robert), Albert "Bob" Bonini, Col. James "Sparky" Bonini (Betty) and Charles Bonini (Paulette); and his siblings-in-law, Wilbert Anderson, Fred, Mary Lou Mattila, Harvey Mattila, Barbara, Joseph Reilly, Robert Sorvala, Dorothy Delf Bonini, Florence Sorvala (Robert), Betty Mattila (Harvey) and Lois.
He is survived by : his children, Bonee Bonini (Doug Gill) of Lake Linden and Brian Bonini (Belinda) of Houghton; his grandson Brandon Bonini; his children, Brooke and Jordan; his grandson Josey (Jessica Aalto); his great grandchildren, Ernest, Everett and Emmett; his granddaughter Brittany (Ryan Shomo); his great grandchildren, Raelyn and Lachlan; and his brother-in-law Weldon Gaulin. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
