With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kenneth Backus of Lake Orion, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kenneth left this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Kenneth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Kenneth farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert C. Backus and Iva C. Backus (Pratt); his siblings, Robert and Marjorie; and his pet Max.
He is survived by: his significant other Darlyne Oakford; his children, Michael (Diane) and Marney (Scott); and his granddaughter Miranda.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 2911 Walmsley Cir, Orion Township, MI 48360.
