He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Sharon Valko (Valko); his sons, Raymond (Karenn) and Kevin (Andrea); his grandchildren, Ariel, Rahm, Elijah, Adilane and Oliann; his parents, Adam William Vernagus and Eleanor Jeanne Vernagus (Atkins); and his wife Deanna McCarty (McCarty). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home (111 E Flint St, Lake Orion, MI 48362). A prayer will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (715 N Lapeer Rd, Orion Twp, MI 48362).
