He is survived by: his wife Tammy Hersha; his children, Robert, Tim Thornton, Brent (Jessica), Kent Hersha and Laura Dyjach (Michael); his sister Pam Cantrell; his grandchildren, Alton, Amber, Evan, Riley, Lily, Tori, Stephen, Caleb and Joshua; his uncle Mike Thornton; and his close friends, Bob Sildack and Rob Hall.
