He is survived by: his wife Susan Bicknell-Jourdain; his children, Stephanie Pawloski (Rob) of Ada, Dr. Peter Leeson (Ania) of Alexandria, Virginia, Mark Leeson (Julie) of Zeeland and Brenna Leeson of Hastings, Michigan; his stepdaughters, Jessica Jourdain (Coty Sowle) of Traverse City and Katie Coté (Mitch) of Plymouth, Michigan; his grandchildren, Kya, Faith, Max, Owen, Conrad and Beau; his brother David Merklein (Linda) of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; and his niece Erin Merklein of Mount Vernon, Washington..
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eight-Point Lake Association Clubhouse (11020 Rock Rd, Lake, MI 48632).
