He was predeceased by: his parents, Arley, Sr. Kent and Violet Kent (Spooner); his wife Mabel H. Kent; his siblings, Orville (Donna), Norman (Ila), Harold (Patricia), Raymond Kent and Elnora Arnsby (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Elsie Tyler (Dutch), Helen McMeeken, Dorothy Hulliberger (Ken) and Gilbert Christophersen.
He is survived by: his children, Clifford Kent of Coral, Bruce Kent (Shelly) of Kalamazoo, Sherry Ehlert (Sid) of Coral and Veronica Ostrander (Warren) of Lakeview; and his siblings-in-law, John Christophersen (Lillian) of Gowen, Maxine Christophersen of Gowen and Diane Kent of Greenville. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one on the way; one great great grandson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home (420 W Grove St, Greenville, MI 48838). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
