It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Edward Murphy of Lakeview, Michigan, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Murphy and Dorothy Murphy; his brothers, Roger, Peter and Eddie; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Dolores Hoaglund; and his brother-in-law Dennis Hoaglund.

He is survived by : his wife Diane Murphy of Lakeview, MI; his children, Jeremy Murphy (Jean) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Jennifer Wagner (Nick) of Grand Rapids, MI, Joanie Frayer (Lionel) of Mount Pleasant, MI and Jill Nowack (Ralph) of Grand Rapids, MI.; and his siblings, Joe, Becky, JoAnn, Carol and Michael. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
